Where All Is Black

Mort is an unpromesing, gangling teenager who becomes an apprentice to DEATH, but proves less than gifted at his new task of ushering soals out pf the world. In fact, when it comes to the rsther attractive Princess Keli (due to be assassinated), Mort fluffs it completely. He kills the assassin instead. Death, having delegated much of his work to Mort, is dislaying human characteristies drinking, dice-playing and becoming curious about the nature of fun. Mort meanwhile, is becoming much less cheery and showing a warrying tendency to SPEAK IN HOLLOW CAPITALS...

Worse still, someone is comming down the chimnely this time he's carrying a sack insdead of a scyth, but there's something regrettably familiar. HO HO HO.
